It was amazing to see the characters grow as they began questioning their life’s choices. I loved the chaos lore and how the world surrounding Pandemonium came to be. What I loved the most about Catalyst (besides the romance )) is that we get a more in-depth view of Lace’s world. And needless to say, Catalyst easily blew Pandemonium out of the water and exceeded every single expectation I had. I loved it! So its sequel Catalyst quickly found a place among my highly anticipated reads for this year. Being the circus fanatic that I am, it was hard not to fall in love with Pandemonium-the first novel of five in the series-and its mysterious Ringmaster. I was so happy when I got the chance to be an ARC reader for this book. Be prepared to hold onto your seat, as Willow definitely delivers! I can’t wait to find out what happens next in Lace’s journey. I don’t want to say much more, as I don’t want to spoil anything, but I really hope that people consider reading this amazing series. If you like carnivals, magic, romance, and mystery you will enjoy this book. She goes through so much in the first book, but she faces many challenges in this book as well, and continues to shine. I was happy to see Lace’s growth in this book. While Lace’s heart feels as though it’s being ripped apart, she must play the game to save Pandemonium and to save their lives. She is thrust into working with someone she hoped she would never see again.

Lace is lost in betrayals and must play a deadly game of revenge. The truth begins to come out, and all is not as it seems. A mysterious woman appears claiming to know where the card is located, and Lace reluctantly follows her to Dryston, the place responsible for the deaths of her parents. They have been searching for months, and the magic is fading, and all seem to be giving up hope.

Pandemonium’s chaos is fractured, and Lace and the rightful Ringmaster set out to find the silver card holding the other half of magic. It was more dark and dangerous, but just as magical! I found myself not wanting to stop reading, because I had to find out what happened next. Wow! I absolutely loved the first book, Pandemonium, and I am happy to report that Catalyst did not disappoint. *I received an e-arc of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review*
